Fics like i need you like water

Adam gasps out, “Oh my god, what the fuck!” Caleb finds himself only able to echo the sentiment. “Yeah, what the fuck!” He doesn’t know who moves first, but suddenly they’re hugging, arms wrapping around each other in a desperate need for comfort and familiarity. The cloud of murky darkness that surrounds fear is dissipating, and Caleb can feel the blue tinge of Adam’s happiness settle inside him, just like it used to. He had tried to forget how perfectly Adam’s emotions fit inside himself (Sadie had told him a million times to stop picturing it because his eyes went all dopey) but Caleb could never quite get a handle on the forgetting part of the breakup. Adam’s emotions, as ever changing as anyone’s, have a home in Caleb, and his body, his mind, engraved those feelings long ago. or, me and my friend wanted caleb and adam to kiss in tct ep 3 so i made that happen
