Fics like Into your darkness, I'll shine a light

TK & Carlos' married bliss is interrupted by a stalker who tests their ability to communicate and work together as a team. “I think someone might be following me?” The words come out like a question, but as he takes a right, followed by another right, weaving his way messily towards his dad’s, he amends, “Yep, definitely being followed.” There is rustling in the background and the sound of the call changes so TK thinks Carlos must have put him on speaker. “What do you mean you’re being followed?” Carlos’ voice is calm, steady, but the undercurrent of alarm is clear. TK recognizes Carlos’ professional cop voice instantly. “I mean I’m being followed.” TK supplies unhelpfully and a little hysterically as he once again makes several weird turns. He takes a deep breath then and answers more helpfully, “I’m driving to Dad’s, for dinner. There was a truck parked out front of the loft and it’s been following me since then.”
