Fics like What Is A Question Without An Answer?

The rain splashed in the already made puddles that laid across the rooftops, roads and sidewalks across the vast city. The puddles low to the ground reflecting the faded, flickering, fluorescent streetlamps that illuminate the walkways. The rain making the light hazy through its downpour. These rusted, bent and broken streetlamps being some of the only assistance in one’s sight during the night in Gotham. The streets are narrow and claustrophobic, barely being able to fit a single car, and the rickety, broken-down buildings tower over the ant-like inhabitants of the city. Buildings such as Wayne Enterprises, GothCorp and Ace Chemicals standing up above the rest, making the other buildings the ants and the inhabitants more akin to atoms. Smoke can be seen filling the sky, exiting from many buildings across the landscape. The polluted air fogging up the sky, coating it, blocking out any form of light that may want to peak its way through into Gotham, making it even darker during the day than the even darkest night sky in Metropolis, and right now it was midnight. Most smart people are inside at this time of night, except for the ones that dare test their luck against The Bat.
