Fics like When a House Becomes a Home

“Hi,” Robin smiles at him. “Didn’t know you were coming”. Steve shrugs. He waits for her to put her seatbelt on before he shifts the gear and starts driving. “Didn’t know I was coming either. My mother finally called”. After the earthquake debacle, Steve came home one night from work to find both his parents at home. His mother asked him to sit down and told him that they bought a house in Chicago. When Steve asked to stay in Hawkins, he didn’t expect them to understand. Instead, his father said that they needed to think about everything. He has been waiting for their call since then. OR: Steve's parents leave Hawkins, and let him keep the house temporarily. Robin moves in.
