Fics like Bambi, Bambi

“But, seriously, that sounds great. I’m actually excited to try more of your cooking.” “Yeah?” Buck gives a small noise of agreement as he focuses back on the truck. “Then maybe I can make you something special, sometime. Just the two of us.” His whole body halts, a watchful air around Buck as he turns towards him slowly. Eddie’s heart is beating a bruise against his chest. “I can make us dinner. You know. Like-... Like a dat–” “BAMBI!” All heads swing to the open bay doors, one mountain of a man standing proud with his hands at his waist. "...Rory?" OR Just as Eddie finally finds the courage to ask Buck out on a date, an old friend of Buck's shows up and their relationship is deep. Eddie tries to stay hopeful but with a potential long-lost love standing in the way, he knows he has to do what's best for Buck no matter what. Even if that means letting him go.
