Fics like To Be Anyone But Me

Izuku is no stranger to discrimination; he's faced it ever since he had been diagnosed as quirkless. So he knows how it feels to be considered less than human from everyone else; from his classmates' mockery and beatings to his teachers' willful ignorance. It was clear just what the world thought of him. But no matter what they've said, no matter how many times they've tried to beat him down, no matter how many times Bakugo had tried to burn it out of him, he's never deviated from what he truly wants to be. A hero that'll save anyone, especially those no one bothered to save. Those just like him. At least soon things will be different. With the opportunity given to him, he'll get into U.A., and once he was there, Bakugo nor anyone else will be able to hurt him anymore. He could finally feel safe for once in his life, he'll no longer have to feel afraid. After all, U.A. is considered the most prestigious hero school in the world, they had to be better. Right?
