Fics like Tell me I’m okay

A deadly cat after the mouse he and that otherworldly creature had played in that dark and cold gravity-less void. Leo had never felt anxiety like that, the fear gripping him when he heard the alien chuckle from somewhere… somewhere he didn’t know, couldn’t pinpoint. The ever expanding dimension echoing the cackles and laughs around him like a haunting timer ticking down to when he would be discovered again, his own fast and shallow breaths meeting his ear holes when he hid behind debris and inside the empty hulls of old Kraang suits from long dead demons. ______ Leo is home safe from the prison dimension, they beat the Kraang, New York was saved. Everything was okay, so why did Leo still feel scared? Why did every creak in the dark make his heart race and hands sweat? How could he even begin to try and tell his family?
