Fics like The Secret Becomes True

Set in New York City, Detective Olivia Benson and her husband Elliot Stabler have a 6 year old daughter named Josephine. She has an older sister Kathleen who is 15. Josephine is commonly known as Josie, the spunky 6 year old who everyone adores at the station where her mother works. She’s always been loved ever since she was a baby. Josephine has always tried her hardest to stay away from strangers, never talk to anyone she doesn’t know and always go to her sister Kathleen when she needs to feel safe when their parents aren’t around or at school. Then one Saturday became important. One Saturday changed everything. While Josie is sleeping, a week after they had been at camp, a young man, supposedly a camp counselor, came into Josie’s room while she was sleeping, unknown to anyone else. She had woken up to a dark figure in the room. She’d wanted to scream, but he’d covered her mouth so she couldn’t scream. She didn’t know he’d been watching her every day. He took her from camp that night. In turn that causes worry for Olivia and Elliot. Follow Josie’s story. Everything that leads up to the terrifying day and what happens all the while Olivia and Elliot try to find their daughter.
