Fics like Past and Present

TW: Reading tags is a must!! Extremely graphic rape, self harm, suicide attempt, etc. Lots of self and victim-blaming. No consensual sex/relationships/smut. Venti goes through a lot but his friends love him. A moment of silence passed between the two, before Barbatos let out a breath. “I accept retribution for my actions. Do what you must.” The Abyss Herald cupped Barbatos’s jaw in one large hand, meeting the Archon’s sad—almost pitying—gaze. “What I must… I must break you, little archon.” Or: Venti gives himself to save Mondstadt, but his punishment isn’t what he expected. Past and present trauma come hurdling back to him as an Abyss plot unfolds and he's kidnapped by the Prince himself. As his friends try to help him, Lumine searches endlessly for the perpetrator, but Venti can’t tell her that it’s her very own brother.
