Gerard Way is a photographer. Three years ago, he purchased a camera at a thrift store that came with a note inside: “Congratulations on finding this camera. This is no ordinary camera. You will never need to purchase film for it, as the camera never runs out of film… unless you find the one you’re destined to love. The film only runs out when you photograph your soul mate. Please enjoy the journey and take care. SK” Gerard is taking pictures of a stranger at a local punk show when his camera suddenly runs out of film.
