Fics like love of mine, someday you will die (but i'll be close behind, i'll follow you into the dark)

She remembers being young and foolish. She wanted it all. The extravagant wedding, the lavish party, the fabulous dress. She wanted to marry him, the love of her life (that week). In her mind, it was meant to be the most beautiful of events but before even the first vow could be said, she was already dead. _____ "that's a terrible name," she whispers sadly, holding his body close to her, his head in her hand. for once, the effort of holding something that being a ghost requires is more than worth it. she'll drain all of her energy if she must just to hold him close. because it's a bitter irony, an even crueler turn of fate. she'd only just met him, this dorky inventor-slash-writer. and even when she had started to fall, to fall deep, she knew her death already separated them. yet once more, death, cruel death, has done them apart.
