Fics like Last Chance (1986)

Eddie knows he hasn’t got a chance in hell with Chrissy, but God, what he would give to just try. So yeah, he takes a moment. Inhales deeply, tasting the cold in the air, listening to the snow melt drip from trees. Last chance, Munson, he thinks. He’s going to be gone after he graduates. What the fuck does he have to lose? Maybe he misses the mark completely and she never speaks to him again…but how will that be any different than the current status quo? It’ll be a few more months of desperate, angst ridden pining, and then – well, then he’ll never see her again. How the hell is he supposed to live with himself if he doesn’t even try?
