“Jason—” Tim's flailing hands were caught and secured behind his back. “No,” Jason snapped. “You’re exhausted. You're going to get yourself killed.” “What are you doing?” Tim’s voice was strained with desperation. His thrashing was getting weaker and that alone was evidence enough that Jason had made the right decision. “I’m putting you down for a nap,” Jason said, throwing him bodily onto the bed. “Since you’re apparently incapable of taking care of yourself.” “Stop it,” Tim said, scrambling to the other end of the bed. “This isn’t funny, Jason.” “I’m not laughing.” Jason caught him by the ankle and yanked him back. Sprawled on his back beneath Jason, Tim twisted in vain. In one large hand, Jason caught Tim’s wrists and pulled them up above his head. Before Tim could so much as blink, Jason had locked a pair of cuffs around his bony wrists and looped them through the headboard. “Jay? What—” Tim jerked against the restraints, panic leaking into his voice. “Shh,” Jason said firmly, brushing a thumb over Tim’s cheek. “I know. But you’re tired, baby bird. You need to rest.” Or, Tim's not been taking care of himself. Jason is determined to do something about it.
