Fics like Steelspittin(mp3codec Errorincluded)

It happened at the worst possible moment. The entire job up until this point had been so easy; a simple weapons repair and system upgrade. It really just boiled down to heavy lifting on your end, lugging armour piercing shells around and digging through aged wiring. Sure, it was a little disconcerting having to work on such dangerous materials, but hey, you, Bliss, and Moritz all knew what you were doing. This wasn’t the first time a mercenary ship had come into the bay, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. The vessel wasn’t so old that the ammunition was liable to combust from a few sparks, and the shipmind was dormant while Bliss updated the software. So all in all, so long as you and Moritz didn’t play catch with a warhead, it would all be fine.
