Fics like dead ringers

Anakin had never been sure what the difference between a dream and a vision was — not exactly, anyway. Though he was aware of the technical difference (how each was used in a sentence and their respective definitions, of course) it stood to reason that, objectively, one could be the other and vice versa. A dream simply a vision not yet come to pass, and conversely, a vision remaining pure fantasy if that fruition never betides the dreamer. The dreamer, in this instance, being a fresh-faced Anakin Skywalker, who theorized that the images embedded on the tissue of his brain weren't solely delusional but the precursor to waking memory. He'd convinced himself it was predestined, as so much of his life already was, that he'd come permanently situated at his Master's side — in his Master's bed as a mainstay. Was he not made for it, bred for divine intention? He was the child of the very theology Obi-Wan pledged his life to tending, and if that inexplicable godhead could come to life and articulate and move like something corporeal would it not resemble a Skywalker? It already did.
