Fics like ink stains

“Here.” I slide a pen across the wooden table, its surface worn and smooth from years of use, and James’ fingers touch mine, accepting the offer. A little bit of ink taints my skin, but it’s barely noticeable. He smiles gratefully and his head tips back down to his pages, but I can’t quite divert my gaze and keep staring at the dark tousled locks falling into James’ face until I catch myself and glance down again. I’ve lost my line, and between the scribbles and colors and sticky notes, I can’t seem to find it again. Small, stolen moments between James and Oliver while they spend their days studying with the rest of the group. Meredith and Richard get into a fight and Oliver contemplates relationships.
