Fics like Claimed

This is my first ever written work and is inspired heavily by Assignment Risk by Alephkeller, Black Powder by TheSignalRemains, You're Always So Warm by Kitty_D, and Making an Example by Snekguy. Keep in mind that I have no formal training in writing or even any basic training. I am simply copying techniques and structures I liked from better authors than myself. So please accept my apologies for my lack of knowledge on sentence structure, grammar, where to break paragraphs, and how to use dialogue. The MC, kingdom, and most of the other human characters have no names or general defining features because I always enjoyed stories that did not have established characters. I use "you" instead of "I" in all situations simply because I want the reader to be able to transport themselves into this world. Unfortunately, however, I did model the MC mostly after myself. My personal beliefs (not political), how I would react to things, my real world skills and knowledge, etc. Hopefully the tags give you enough information to go off of, but I want the story to be more or less experienced as it's read. This is my little ego tax, sorry. And most importantly, thanks so much for reading!
