As per Stark tradition, Tony moved through life by putting forward the reputation that got him places--he did what he had to do to gain a footing. In doing so, he engineered himself to meld in perfectly to a world made for Alphas and their glorious wings and huge egos. To everyone around him, Tony was unquestionably Alpha. Too bad that after his fourth molt, he presented as something else entirely. Years later, after he learned to cope with being an Omega by not being an Omega, he joined the Avengers Initiative and fiercely protected his heart and his wings. But although he could pass as one of the Alphas he'd been running with for decades, no one is perfect, especially Tony Stark. No one--certainly not the Avengers Flock--expected a single azure feather smelling of fresh orange blossoms to lead to this.
