Fics like All The Friendly Ghosts

Even among the Autobots, Sideswipe is an odd one. He talks to the empty air of their base in a language none of them can translate. He knows things he shouldn't know about his fellow Autobots. He claims he has a twin brother that everyone's met but nobody remembers seeing (probably because he's… dead). Sometimes his optics turn gold and he seems like a completely different mech. Ratchet thinks it's a coping mechanism, considering how a sparkling Sideswipe was found alone and abandoned in the ship he called the Ark. Most Autobots accept that explanation. Jazz still feels like he's missing something. Prowl just wishes malfunctioning doors would stop locking him in his room whenever Sideswipe says their workaholic SIC needs to rest.
