“How do you feel?” George asked, low and soft. “A little better,” Dream said. “Can you call me baby again?” He really didn’t know where that had come from, the warmth and closeness pulling his thoughts straight off his tongue, but George’s mouth parted sweetly and his cheeks were bright pink and Dream didn’t regret a thing. “Why?” George breathed, smiling a little, like he was trying not to but couldn’t quite manage it. Dream was tingly all over. “Because I like it.” Dream gets sick and George, to his amazement, is actually very soft and caring about it. Surely nothing life-changing will come of this.
