Fics like A Lover's Mark

Lover’s Marks, it said on the otherwise bare cover, and Stede’s danger-naive heart thudded loudly in his chest. The font was a faint cursive, as if written in one go by someone with a shaky, lustful hand. It felt illegal just to crack open the thing, but when he flipped through the pages, he found a fiction, a tale of love and forbidden attraction between a man and a woman borne with each other’s first touches. The imprints of the other’s hands appeared in their teen years, as if scars from fateful occurrences that had not yet come to pass. And when they finally met, the marks began to fade, but not before passionate love was made, the likes of which made Stede blush, and heat, and return to his room and his opulent bed with thoughts of rough, callused hands and warm, soft touches. Stede nearly forgets about it, a faint whisper of a disallowed memory, until a few days before his sixteenth birthday.
