Fics like As Destiny Demands

Destiny’s games are cruel, think father and son from separate sides of a war so old that the reason for it’s start is near forgotten. Destiny is both a gift and a curse, thinks the brother whose family has been torn apart and yet still desperately clings to hope. Destiny’s prophecies are a warning to be wary of, think the serpentine from their dark, dreary tombs. Destiny is a battle to be won, thinks one of its greatest adversaries. It is fickle, weak, nothing compared to the might of a god. The Overlord of Corruption and Chaos will not confine to the restrictions of his preordained fate. He will not rise merely to be banished back to the shadows once more. Light’s feeble attempt against him will not stand… Destiny should’ve chosen him, thinks a lone young man dressed in green as he lays awaiting his oncoming demise. The colours of his clothing would never be enough compared to the prestige of the title that was never his to begin with.
