Fics like After the Spring Has Come

In the spring after Nanami’s twenty-fifth birthday, after she and Tomoe have settled into life in a rural village, the winds of change lure them. While Nanami entertains opening a school, Tomoe has another request — to start a family. Although Nanami wants children, when faced with the reality, ghosts of her childhood arise to haunt her. Just when she and Tomoe decide to try, their hiding place is discovered, and they’re forced to run. Becoming fugitives combined with Nanami’s failing health makes Tomoe wonder if he and Nanami will ever find peace. [Graphic violence warning is unrelated to the pregnancy. Childbirth/labor isn't depicted. Not omegaverse and not a kidfic.]
