Fics like Buzzed

Eddie puts his quarters on the pool table after greeting its current players and comes back to Steve, pushing his barstool to be close enough to put his arm around his shoulders. He orders two shots for each of them and Steve shakes his head, grinning ear to ear. “Tryin’ to get me drunk?” Eddie kisses his cheek. “Why not, angel? We can walk to a motel from here, and you got nowhere to be but by my side.” The bartender slides the shots over to them, smiling at them kindly. Steve looks at Eddie when he laughs, unable to think of anywhere else he’d rather be. // Or: Steve and Eddie have a date night at a gay bar in Indianapolis.
