Fics like Forever Young

Alphinaud has spent years waiting for his growth with increasing impatience, but it's been painfully slow in coming. There is nothing quite so frustrating as being an adult stuck in a youth's body. All the more so as he knows he must wait until he's grown before he can truly confess his feelings to Estinien, and have any hope of them being returned. But there are more effects from the Scions' journey to the First shard than they had yet realized, and it turns out there's a terrible reason the twins' growth has been so delayed. Faced with the possibility of never growing up, and all the disadvantages that entails, Alphinaud has no idea how to deal with his new reality. He's not quite willing to give up on his dreams just yet - and, it seems, Estinien isn't so willing to admit defeat, either.
