Fics like Forever's Gonna Start Tonight

Mycroft was suddenly cold, though the water still ran at a searing temperature. He rinsed the conditioner from his hair quickly before shutting off the water, shivering as he reached for a towel. He had created all the warmth in his mind, had he not? Invented it in saccharine daydreams, projected his own feeling onto that of his— friend? Lover? Colleague? Acquaintance? — Mycroft has been out of the country for over a month. He’s struggling to manage being alone, though he's been alone all his life, so he should be used to this, right? Silly boys pining for each other.
