Fics like Here we stand, world's apart (I'm reaching for you)

There is a circular room filled with doors. In one world, Harry will run through the door of the Death Veil Room. In this world, he runs through a different door. There are many, many entrances and exits to the Upside Down. Harry Potter running through one of them is just the beginning. ••• In another life, Billy Hargrove would be the only new student at Hawkins High. Luckily for him (and his continued existence), this is not that life. Harry Potter – British, cute, partially emancipated, skipped the first two years of high school – is the son of a distant cousin of Chief Hopper who came to live in the colonies after his parents died. Billy... Billy kind of wants to eat him. And then there's Harrington. And Munson. This is how – the original series timeline is fucked aside until Friday – the end of the world begins. ••• Or the one where the Upside Down catches on fire, Harry becomes a mother dragon five minutes after arriving in Hawkins, Jim and Joyce are the best parents, Eddie is living his best year and Steve and Billy bond over the cute British boy. 1984 was a strange year for Harry.
