Fics like Seeing Stars

A reimagining of Eddie's '86 senior year that ends with him walking the graduation stage, flipping the bird, and getting the hell out of there. With the girl he loves. After a chance encounter at a party, Eddie meets Star. At the party, she's oddly charming and mysterious. She's also drunk. The problem is, she's an unreadable brick wall when she's sober. Despite her hesitation to letting men in her life, they become best friends. Will Eddie's attentive persistence help him break down the walls she's put up to protect herself from not getting hurt? Will Star learn she can be in love and be loved in return? Will her spiritual guidance help her see that Eddie really is the one for her? A story of strangers to best friends to lovers with a splash of witchiness and a lot of trauma healing.
