Turns out getting a tattoo makes you vulnerable to the criminal element. And, fine, it makes sense. It totally makes sense. Secret identities and all that. But who would believe a villain if they shouted left and right that Red Robin has a Superman tattoo? (And the idiots would say Superman for sure, even when it was Superboy's. There's a difference okay.) Literally no one would believe them. Like that B99's scene of Captain Holt showing Jake Peralta his Hula Hooping pics: No one will ever believe you. Yes. That makes sense too. A totally good argument against Batman's anti-tattoos lectures. OR Tim secretly gets a matching tattoo with Kon and he feels like he's his actual age for the first time since he was born. And if his family finds out? That's a problem for future-Tim. But, then, he is future-Tim. “Tim, is that…?” Dick’s blue eyes were wide open. "Is that a Superman tattoo?" "Superboy," and it was just fair that Tim corrected him. From the look on Bruce's face, though, it wasn't the right answer.
