Steve was never comfortable with others taking care of him. It was why he'd fallen so easily into the babysitter role: he'd held himself together all his life, he'd never had anyone else to do it for him. When Steve, Robin, Eddie, and Nancy make it out of the Upside Down, Steve keeps his bandages wrapped tight and doesn't let anyone see, insisting he's fine, he's fine, he's always fine. He checks on Nancy, makes sure the kids have a place to sleep, and tries to get away to deal with his wounds on his own. But his stubbornness won't stop the Party from helping him when he needs it. or I just need content of everyone loving and caring for Steve okay??
