“Okay, storks, what brings you up here? What can Captain Birdmerica do for you?” asks Sam. Maybe they need help getting back home? They don’t really seem to be from around here…Sam’s just starting a mental list of people to call about potential lost storks when the small bundle on the ground starts crying. Sam begins to wonder if he’s actually still asleep. That can’t be a baby, right? It’s gotta be a kitten or something, sometimes cats can sound like crying babies— “We brought you this small human in what we believe is the traditional manner. It needs human care,” says one of the storks. The birds of New York and beyond are absolutely certain that Bucky and Sam are extremely dad-shaped, and they'll bring them a baby to prove it. Sam and Bucky are somewhat less certain, but they're working on it.
