Gene held his mouth open and still for Finny, who was swaying ever so slightly over him. Sweet smoke billowed into his mouth, thin and gentle enough to inhale. Finny exhaled nice and steady, hitting the back of his throat dead on. Their lips were within a hair’s breadth of touching, brushing occasionally, but it was whatever. It wasn’t anything of note. At least not out loud.
