Fics like A Love Like the Movies

Sirius Black is a rich snob. Remus Lupin works two minimum wage jobs to make ends meet. When they cross paths at the restaurant where Remus works as a waiter, it does not go well. But then Sirius is disowned and disinherited after coming out as gay and he is forced to get a job at the same restaurant where Remus works. Then, life happens. OR... Remus has been abandoned too many times and is afraid of falling in love. He has resigned himself to the belief that he is better off alone because, in his experience, his chronic illness is too heavy a burden on everyone around him. Love just isn't meant for someone like him. Sirius has spent his entire life obsessed with romance and dreaming of finding a love like the movies. So when his abusive family tries to arrange a marriage for him, he decides to come out publicly to prevent it. He is subsequently cast out into the real world, which leads him to Remus. Love, as it turns out, is a lot more complicated than the movies.
