Fics like Let Me Remove My Crown and Embrace You

Drunk Hyde was a joy to be around - at least, at first. He laughed - actually laughed - at the remarks of those around him, instead of merely gracing them with his usual dignified smirk. He spoke more too, sharing stories he normally had the good sense to keep to himself. It was as if all the good manners and habits ingrained into him by the French court dissolved in the alcohol, finally freeing the personality that had been trapped inside for over two centuries. Unfortunately, it also made him awfully touchy-feely, and it was Gil, who had been his drinking partner for the night, who would have to bear the brunt of that affection. (Aka under the influence of alcohol and decades of separation Hyde and Gil bond by the hotel pool a little harder than most friends might. Fic inspired entirely by the one illustration in the ep 8 ED.)
