Fics like it's a year later

He writes things down. He’s got a little red Spider-Man journal that Ned literally made for him and he’s also using his phone calendar and he sets alarms and he makes timelines for himself and he doesn’t let setbacks destroy him, even though he’s tempted to, sometimes. Even though that nagging sensation is still there, still ready to nag, still ready to say you’re done. He’s not done. He’s not done. He’s been back in the suit for about a month now. And tomorrow is Tony’s birthday. It’s been a year. It’s been a year since that day, since the incident. The incident born of the initial incident.
