Fics like You Are Not My Captain

Seonghwa is a half-siren, an illegitimate child of his father's affair with a human woman. He grew up in a household with a family who hated him and neglected him, with no friends. All he ever wanted was to see the surface, and one day he ignores everyone's warnings to swim to shore. As he climbed onto the shore, his excitement didn't get to last before he was immediately stolen and put on a ship. Unbeknownst to him, he became the kidnapee of the Black Pearl, one of the most debauched pirate crews in history. With an already fragile will to live, the only thing keeping Seonghwa going is the child in his stomach. Saved by the crew of Ateez, and their captain, Kim Hongjoong, this is the story of Park Seonghwa and his journey to heal and regain what he never had. Love.
