We Were Gods is a book about a young man named Oleander who finds out he is a God. But he just wants to be a normal mortal; especially when he finds out that all deities from every religion work together in the Death Justice System (DJS) or the Re:Birth Network. Not only that but his brother is set on destroying Oleander and his friends from a war that started back when they were just young Gods. Journey with Oleander and his new found friends to discover the inner workings of Gods, the secrets of their past lives, and finishing a war that is threatening all of mankind.
