Fics like Oh, simple thing, where have you gone?

A light breeze blew through grey and green and scarlet hair under the evening sky as a cord was strummed. "I used to think that I was bold~" Wanda Maximoff, only sixteen at the time, sang out as her twin strummed her guitar beside her, "I used to think love was for fun~" Lorna Maximoff barely needed to glance down at the strings as she played her old guitar, a gift from the twins' late father. "Now all my stories have been told, except for one~" Pietro Maximoff watched in awe as his cousins' hands were enveloped in red and green, "If the stars ever align~" The twelve-year-old laughed loudly, freely, as the stars and constellations above them shifted at Wanda's words. "I hope you take it as a sign that you'll be okay~" Lorna and Wanda watched as their little cousin smiled and laughed without care for the first time in a long time. Wanda and Lorna watched as the light in Pietro's eyes returned, bright and content and everything the boy hasn't been. They watched as two became three, and as that three became family. "Everything will be okay~"
