While in the hospital, Lucy made Kate a promise: “Don’t feel bad,” Lucy said, not wanting to see the guilt on Kate’s face anymore, “I’m going to squeeze all I can out of it. The next time I’m losing an argument with you, I’m gonna say, ‘I took a knife for you’. And I’ll do that until we’re all old and wrinkly.” This is about how Lucy made good on that promise.
