Fics like The Fierce Deity

The fire flickered as a log within shifted, sending embers the bandaged mans way; the marked man laying limp in the bedroll that the Hylian placed. The blue markings made it painful for Link to so much as look at. The Fierce Deity liked the mans markings. More often then not, the deity seemed pacified by them; quieting when the strange blue lines were in view and nearby; claiming that they sang to it. This would have been a relief and a piece of mind if Link wasn't woken to a nightmare the Deity gave him, of his own knife being used to carve those markings off the injured mans skin for the gods own personal gain.
