Fics like How to Grow Wildflowers

“I think I’ll grow wildflowers this spring,” Tommy muses over the phone something quiet and almost sad in his words, “There’s not enough of them in the city.” Phil pauses, smiling softly at the teen’s decision, “I think that’s a great idea,” He says, “What types are you thinking?” “Violets are nice,” The teen says, and there’s something so definite in his words that Phil finds himself agreeing. Violets ARE nice. ---- Phil Craft is happy living his quiet little life in the country, but one thing leads to another and three children he's met only once are sent to his sleepy little town. Tommy tends to his garden with a vigour a little too intense for a thirteen year old, Wilbur won't speak to anyone but his brother, and Techno seems ready to pick a fight with anything that moves. What happens when he finds himself growing attached to the trio? OR: the author wanted to write a story about her little country town and did so with the block men enjoy <3
