Fics like I'm getting to know someone

You smile, and it's the most beautiful smile he's ever seen. Steven giggles when he turns to you, happy and excited, and you can't help but peck his lips and hug him until it hurts. Marc's just a witness there, a being, little more than a ghost witnessing two people in love. He's smiling, he feels happy and content now that Steven can finally experience true love, just like what he had with Layla and ruined, but the feeling is bittersweet. or (Steven gets a girlfriend. Unfortunately for Marc, that also means that he's part of that relationship, in a way. And when you move in, there's no going back.)
