Fics like Please Don't Take My Sunshine Away

Goro's mother is alive, but only in the physical sense. Shortly after her child's seventh birthday, she was kidnapped and held as Shido's prisoner with a few other women, dreaming of the day when she could break free and stitch her little family back together. But, when she finally gets out, what awaits her is an even greater despair –– her son, Goro, is nowhere to be found.
