Fics like IF I HAD A HEART

Mycroft knew right away when his eyes caught the bright blue of John's that he should ignore the spark he felt. He was a Holmes, its best to forget the young Omega before they both regretted it. "I cant love you." Mycroft repeated in his head, what his mouth had said all those years ago. Love was illogical but John was an exception. John made him wish that he was allowed to have a heart. For just a few fleeting moments John was his until he wasnt. Now years later their paths crossed and the older Iceman found himself wishing all over again that he had a heart.
