Fics like paint my dream.

Every year, on September 13th, Rebecca preferred to be alone if she could. Sure, it helped a bit when she was surrounded by people, especially ones she loved and cared for, but ultimately, she liked the solitude of locking herself away in her office or her home and just disconnecting from reality. But this year, she woke up in a hotel room in Amsterdam, the second of a four-day trip with her coaching staff for a scouting assignment. She had no idea why she accepted the invitation. She knew between Ted, Beard, and Roy, they’d have a handle on everything. But when Ted walked into her office to invite her, there was no way she could say no. She remembered how soft his eyes were, how his face looked hopeful, and there was just no denying his request.
