Fics like Kiss Goodnight
Robotnik had obvious repulsion to touch. Ever since he was a little boy, a simple touch on the shoulder or a hand touching his own sent shivers of disgust through his body. But he never backed away when Stone touched him. Stone, being the most intelligent person when Robotnik was not in the room, knew exactly why his employer acted that way. The most clever man in the world, who was constantly trying to deny his humanity and compared himself to his precious machines, was touch-starved.
