Fics like Respite

Dracula doesn't know what year it is. Time passes him by without touching him, he is stuck in this everlasting limbo where nothing happens because Zobek and Lucifer are too afraid to face him, and without facing them he can never fulfill his destiny. It is an endless wait without respite. The only relief he gets from his thoughts are when the Brotherhood attacks him. And this time he is lucky enough to have a challenge for his castle from the putrid remains of Carmilla's hell spawn at the same time. But somehow the Brotherhood has defeated Carmilla's children without much of a sweat. They had help from a witch that they turned away. Dracula thinks they’re fools for turning away a would-be powerful ally. But they said something else, too. She has fallen from Grace. Without them explicitly stating what that means, he has no clue what they meant by that. Perhaps they simply meant it in the sense that she is an unmarried woman, hell if he knows. They’ll call anyone fallen if they don’t adhere to their strict definition of virtuous. But if she has fallen from Grace, she might be persuaded to join him, instead.
