Fics like Mercy

Hannibal Lecter becoming Will’s psychiatrist after the Hobbs shooting was a near miss. Instead, Will managed to insist Alana became his therapist, and Jack brought Hannibal Lecter on as a consultant on the Chesapeake Ripper instead - and he immediately made his interest in Will known. The problem with Hannibal Lecter, Will decided, wasn’t so much that he was an arrogant, overdressed, snobbish Alpha psychiatrist, but that he had no right smelling as good as he did. Will had felt a sharp stab of attraction, walking into Jack’s office the first time they met, which was not like him at all. Then the man opened his mouth. * Or, one where Hannibal falls in love, and is blatantly obvious and transparent about it. A curtain fic that grew legs, a plot and an alternate timeline. Complete.
