Fics like A Drop of Sunlight

A young man wakes up in a haze in an unfamiliar place and time with nothing but his weapons held in his white-knuckled grip. While he's welcomed by the people of Rigbarth, his amnesia haunts him at every corner, his forgotten memories like a parasite in the back of his mind. As they slowly creep back like inching miasma, he slowly comes to realize that perhaps he doesn't want to remember the man who he once was. But it isn't like he has a choice, as he gazes into an abyss of what was, and into the gilded future of what could possibly be.
