Fics like These Days

Hiya. Like a lot of you, I've been struck by the deaths of so many beloved rock musicians over the past few years. The death of Taylor Hawkins of The Foo Fighters was no different. I love the Foos and have a deep respect for Dave Grohl and the band, so Taylor's death felt strangely close to home. I've also experienced more than my fair share of grief, and it always feels healing to write about it. So that's where the idea came from for this little fic. No big romantic fantasies or smut in this one, folks--just lots of feelings. Prepare to be sad. If that's not your jam, I get it. But if you do read, I hope this touches you in some way. Rock on. And remember that love never dies. This fic was written in a couple of hours, completely unplanned and unbeta'd.
